Languages and Culture

Canada is English-speaking country, in other words, english is the first language to MOST Canada provinces, all except Quebec. Quebec is a province wich english is the second language and French is the first. Yet, it is one of the most culture-varied countries in the world. It has Chinatown, even Salvadorean restaurants with pupusas! There is no getting bored in Canada. The usual traditions are the Quebec's parade for Christmas with floats, and dances and fireworks...it's beautiful! Toronto and other Ontario countries host the x-mas Santa parade. When they walk all aroung Younge street (the longest street in the world) and you get a visit from Santa himself! He gives out prizes and you can give him your christmas letter for your gifts. Toronto also hosts own Film Festival and operas. There is also an amazing event where special guests come to Canada and it is called
Cavalcade of Lights, it is when fireworks fall over the City Hall in Toronto.

One other amzing natural beauty in Canada is the Northen Lights. Only seen in winter in Yukon and the Northwest territories. (which are provinces located more to the north of Canada.)
