The Great Lakes
The great lakes, formed over 10,000 years ago by the ice age are one of the most precious water resources in the world. The lakes within are: lake Huron, lake Superior, lake Ontario (which is about the size of El Salvador),lake Michigan and lake Erie. They provide fresh water and homes to 40 million canadians and Americans and countless amount of animals. Lake Ontario even has its own island! (Toronto island)
